Online Crime Reporting Portal

Welcome to the online crime Getting Started crime reporting portal for the Green Bay Police Department. This service is provided as a convenient way for you to report police incidents at your convenience. Only certain types of crimes can be reported online. If your incident doesn't qualify for online reporting, please call our law enforcement agency at: (920) 448-3200 (press #8).

There are several steps to completing your online incident. The online form will walk you through each step. After your incident is submitted, we will review it and contact you if we need further information.

Filing a false police report is a crime in the State of Wisconsin under state statute 946.32, 946.42(2)(a) and is punishable by a fine not to exceed $10,000 and/or imprisonment of up to 6 years. By submitting a report, you are certifying that the information provided is accurate to the best of your ability.

If you want to report a crash and exchanged information with other driver(s) on scene, please use the Wisconsin DOT site.

If you are reporting a hit-and-run crash in the City of Green Bay, please contact the Green Bay Police Department at (920) 448-3200 (press #8). We do not accept hit-and-run crashes via online reporting.

  • Damage To Property
    • Damage To Property - Intentionally cause damage To any physical Property less than $2,500 In value belonging To another without consent.
    • Graffiti - This Is graffiti To yours Or another's property resulting in less than $2,500 in damage.
  • Theft
    • Lost Property - Personal lost Property values under $2,500 (excluding vehicles).
    • Rental Property Theft - Property rented To another that has Not been returned after the End Of the rental contract.
    • Theft from a Vehicle - Theft Of vehicle items (vehicle parts And/Or accessories) Or entry into locked Or enclosed portion/compartment Of vehicle With intent To steal items within.
    • Theft - Deprivation Of personal Property less than $2,500 In value. Intentionally taking And carrying away, Using, transferring, concealing, Or retaining possession Of moveable Property belonging To another without consent And With the intent To permanently deprive the owner.
  • Fraudulent Activity
    • Fraud - Scams - Attempt Of Or completed fraud causing a financial loss Of less than $2,500 In value.
    • Identity Theft - Wrongfully obtaining And Using another person's personal data (name, date of birth, SSN, credit card, driver's license, etc.).
    • Counterfeit/Forgery - The altering, copying, Or imitation Of something, without authority Or right, With the intent To deceive Or defraud by passing the altered copy As genuine.
  • Non-Criminal Reports
    • Harassment - Unsolicited/unwanted repeated phone calls, messages Or texts.
    • Threats Complaint - Intent To harass Or intimidate another. Disruptive behaviors/threats directed at an individual Or specific group. Can be verbal Or written, explicit Or implied, And willfully made.
    • Neighborhood Issues - Disputes between neighbors.
    • Suspicious Situation - Observed abnormal activity Or circumstances.
    • Suspicious Person/Vehicle - Actions by a person Or vehicle that you observed And consider out Of the ordinary Or unusual.
